Interview with Tomilson Hill

Later this month, the Frick Collection will present “Renaissance and Baroque Bronzes from the Hill Collection,” an exhibition comprised of 33 renowned sculptures spanning the 15th to 18th centuries. The bronzes, which have never been publicly shown as a group, “have encompassed every country in Europe that had an impact on the creation of bronzes,” says the collection’s owner J. Tomilson Hill. He sat down with Blouin ARTINFO’s Judd Tully for an in-depth interview about his broad and eclectic collection.
